First we sectioned Krista’s hair separating flats, ovals and rounds to determine the shape of the head.
Then we created a section from the occipital bone to the mastoid bone using John Dellaria’s Pyrametrics method
Before the blow out, Joao sprayed on Sugah’s Leave-in Conditioner and combed it through the hair. He then applied the finishing/styling product: Sugah’s Swurl. He used a medium round brush to control the shape of the cut and finished with a flat brush to smooth out the top layers. We found Swurl worked great to give a great finish effect in smoothing the hair. Finally, Krista’s hair was spritzed with Shuga’s Dressy Mist, which added texture and shine.
This cut is very versatile and there are a lot of ways to style it. This way is more polished for an evening out (or slick back one side like Cate did). You can make it more edgy and fun by using a product that adds wave or curl for a more-relaxed weekend look.
And there you have it! Special thanks to Krista who looks fantastic and ready to head over to her favorite Italian restaurant in Boston’s North End to celebrate her new style.
