Look in the mirror…what’s the hair situation? When models walk in the door, we do a quick assessment to figure out how to best style their hair in that moment. Do they have curls to work with? Is their hair heavy and straight to complement a middle part and straight style? First step: assess. Do you need a wash? Are there curls to work with? Is the top just a little flat? Does your outfit and meeting today call for a strong hair look?
OK, your hair is smelly and dirty. You know when you have to wash it. Wash, condition, and towel dry, but decrease drying time by investing in a microfiber towel and letting the towel do its job while you apply makeup and get dressed. It cuts blow drying time in half. The Remedie Frizz Eliminating Towel is made from t-shirt material on the outside and terry cloth on the inside to absorb water. If you are blessed with wavy or curly hair, then apply a volume mousse or light-hold mousse to damp hair. Move the hair around a bit to where you want it and let it dry while doing make up and dressing. Once it’s almost dry, use a dryer and a diffuser so as to not disturb the shape. You can use a curling iron to add a few surface curls or waves as well.
